Mode Mondays ~ Red Carpet Arrivals, Grammys 2016

The Grammys is an awards show which allows you to see a number of looks whether it's simply fun, high end glamour or something in between. One of my favorite looks came from Miguel and Nazanin Mandi. Miguel performed a tribute to Michael Jackson with Off the Wall's, 'She's Out of My Life'. Earlier in the night, he hit the red carpet with his finacee wearing

Style Sundays ~ SAG Awards, Red Carpet 2016

Last night, the SAG Awards had a number of amazing winners that hit the stage. Of course, one of my favorite couples to note during this awards season is Kate Winslet who looks phenomenal in a dark green Armani gown with Neil Lane diamonds. To further extend her regal look, she donned a slicked braided chignon and nude makeup.

Mode Mondays ~ Best Dressed, Golden Globes 2016

Jaimie King of NBC's Blindspot stunned on the Golden Globe's red carpet with a dress that was the perfect fit for her. Designed by Australian designer, Genny this plunging neckline with rich green fabrication was amazing whether she was on the red carpet or presenting an award.

In addition to her stunning dress, makeup artist, Jeffrey Paul for IT Cosmetics created a look to enhance her regal ensemble for the Golden Globes presenter for Best TV Movie/Limited Actor. Inspired by her outfit, he wanted to give her a touch of drama with a focus on her eyes.

FACE:

· IT Cosmetics Bye Bye Under Eye Anti-Aging Concealer in Light

· IT Cosmetics Eyelift In A Tube in Light-Medium

EYES:

· IT Cosmetics Brow Power Super Skinny Universal Waterproof Brow Pencil in Dark Brown

· NEW IT Cosmetics Superhero Elastic Stretch Volumizing Mascara (Available February 16)

LIPS:

· IT Cosmetics YLBB Your Lips But Better Waterproof Lip Liner Stain in Blushing Nude

Jeffrey Paul notes that, "The color's a beautiful rose nude that makes the lips look flushed with color but soft and pretty, to balance out her stunning dramatic eyes."

Savor Saturdays ~ Mexico, Yoga + Rejuvenation

It's amazing that when I co-launched Athleisure Mag, it allowed me to continue styling great shoots, provided a medium to introduce readers to those I admire and to allow me to learn a lot more about fitness opportunities that I can try out. If you enjoyed Jan's Issue, New Year - New You - you will love what we have in store for Feb.

In addition, at the end of this month, I will spend a few days on a press trip to Villa del Palmar at the Loreto Islands. Of course I'll share socially and keep you in the loop on what you can take in and must have items that I use to stay connected as well as relaxed as we continue through Awards Season and prep for New York Fashion Week.

One of fashion's (and the British Fashion Council's) biggest nights took place at the British Fashion Awards last night at the London Coliseum. Enjoy highlights from the video for those that hit the red carpet. This event celebrates contributions of British designers, creatives and models that work within the international fashion scene since 1989.

Mode Mondays ~ Red Carpet Best Dressed, AMAs 2015

Ciara tends to stun regardless of the occasion but yesterday, she looked absolutely phenomenal when she hit the red carpet of the 2015 American Music Awards. Rocking Reem Acra gown (Fall 2015 collection), she served as the event's Social Media Correspondent (while keeping an eye on boyfriend Russell Wilson's plays as he and the Seattle Seahawks were on the field during the awards show). Although this style of dress has definitely been worn by a number of notable entertainers (including the performer herself back in 2013's AMAs), as a stylist, I love a sheer/nude beaded gown moment that showcases a sensual look while keeping everything covered properly.

Mode Mondays ~ Romona Keveza Luxe Bridal Collection, FW16

I ended the week with an amazing time at Romona Keveza's penthouse flagship location to see the Romona Keveza Luxe Bridal Collection for FW16. What I love about seeing the line is that you can tell the pieces that will hit the red carpet for a number of Awards Season shows as well as major bridal moments with celebs and personalities alike. I truly enjoy being able to be in a salon (intimate) setting where Romona herself walks you through the line talking about how it was created and what theme it falls into in terms of the girl that wears it!

It is so hard to pick favorites but here are some major standouts that left my gasping (note that I am always left feeling very breathless during her shows. I also love that my mother has attended a number of the presentations with me which is always a special moment as well.
