Sippin Saturdays: R&B Artist Shontelle @ Veet

This past Wed, I went to M2 Lounge to attend Veets event and to hear Shontelle (on Universal Motown's label and check out her fan club, Shontelle Online to see great pics and to know where she'll be at) perform! Right before she went on, I had the opportunity to interview this Barbados beauty and to learn about her beauty regimine, style and what it would be like to envoke her favored icon. I truly enjoyed chatting with her and hearing her loves as well!

Sippin Saturdays: Sounds of SafetySuit

Now if you have been following me on Twitter, you'll hear me saying that I am watching The Hills online as I am usually missing it due to football. One of the things that I love about this show is that I have found myself heading to iTunes after watching the show! It seems like The Hills always has a great song and even though you only hear a little of it, it makes you want to hear more! With that said, I was introduced to the Universal Motown's, modern rock band,Safetysuit's "Someone Like You", which has a great vibe and great lyrics to match. Although their first CD, Life Left to Go was released in May, this band has been on a mini tour making pit stops to continue increasing their audience. Although they have been playing with Puddle of Mud since the earlier portion of this month, this band got its start by coming together and focusing on their audience via grassroots methods - playing small venues and starting in their home base of Nashville. After listening to all the songs from their current CD, I have to say that the lyrics are simple, touching and just great to listen to. With so much talent coming from Nashville, it's nice to hear another band that has made it from the area with their great sound. To listen to other great songs, you can visit Safetysuit's site!

#LoveFest16

I look at Valentine's Day as a day to gift others that you love (friends, co-workers, family and significant others), but it's also a time to pre-Spring Clean your wardrobe or other areas that need attention. It allows you to think about upcoming travel, warmer climates and so much more. This year's Love Fest has an array of finds!

We kick off with providing insight into brands that will be within our guide starting with my press trip that will take place at Villa Del Palmar in Baja, Mexico which is a fitness and activity based trip. In addition, the #LoveFest16 Guide begins Feb 1st - 14th in a clickable format as well as sharing tweets about the brand from Feb 1st - Feb 7th.
