As I write this, I think about how amazing and informative 2013 has been! It involved another season of Shoe Week to move forward (loved the nod from Oprah Magazine and their Editor at Large, Gayle King in the September Issue as well as their website), styling opportunities from a new brand I Co-Founded - Accessory2 which shoe styled a Charleston Fashion Week Show this past March as well as shoe styling a number of looks for Delaina Dixon, co-host of VH1's Gossip Girl and even styled portions of Stefani Vara's remix video and more is to come with those brands.<p>
As The Accessory Expert, I enjoyed a number of great opportunities that included additional ambassadorships such as Microsoft's Office Champs (where I headed to their headquarters in Seattle) as well as going to Barcelona within the same week as I am also a bran ambassador for Crest 3D White where I heard the announcement from Shakira who serves as their global ambassador! Beyond my travels I appeared on a number of TV segments within Atlanta, DC, Baltimore, Las Vegas, West Palm Beach, Boston, Charleston and more sharing my love accessories as they pertained to personal style, celebs, gifting and more. I contributed to a number of publications domestically and internationally including Fashion Weekly Australia, style notes on OK! Magazine.com and was quoted within Luxury Daily articles, Shape Magazine etc.
I am so excited with what 2014 will bring as I closed the year with some great options that will be made known next year! In addition, between emails, texts and social messages the next best thing is always a moment away! I close this year knowing that I definitely worked my butt off, made great connections and took advantage of a number of opportunities. In addition I have always believed that while you move forward, there should also be time to reflect on what you're doing so that all things that are connected to you - being people, projects and goals are still synergistic with what you are working on! Here's to closing the book as we can't change the past and having a fresh start next year to hit the ground running. Whether you're spending your time at home or out and about making bottles pop left and right - Happy New Year to you!
