Although the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show airs on Dec 10th, the show took place a few days ago with much fanfare. My favorite look of the show and one that you'll have to loo for when it airs on CBS is the Snow Angel look! Earlier this week, we shared The Salon Guy's backstage interview (click here) about Lindsay Ellingson wearing this look. Lindsay rocked a Swarovski creation that was made from 3D Printing and was paired with Nicholas Kirkwood Gladiator Style heels with a fabulous pair of wings of course.
For the first time in this show's history, the design (wings and lingerie) was created entirely from 3D printing technology. Lindsay rocked a nylon layered geometric filigree that was encrusted with millions of micro-Swarovski crystals as apart of the Snow Angel collection. Victoria's Secret and Swarovski partnered with architect Bradley Rothenberg and designer Duann Scott of 3D printing company, Shapeways to bring this to life (which took 5 months). The blend of textile meets structure was created by making a digital scan of the model's body to allow them to not only push the boundaries of 3D printing but to also for her perfectly.
